IRONMAN WC Hawaii 2022 – 6 athletes raced for our team!!!

Extraordinary performances by our 6 triathletes that raced the world championships in Hawaii this thursday/saturday!!!

A group of 6 athletes together with 2 team officials (Mara & Martine) took the long travel to Kona/Hawaii to participate at the IM Hawaii 2022. Due to the covid pandemic breakout in 2020/2021, nearly 5000 triathletes were eligible to race in Hawaii this year, so it had been decided to split the WC into 2 separate races.

On thursday, Anja Dziadek (F35-39), Anja Rehlinger (F35-39) and Thierry Majerus (M50-54) were ready to rumble in the first race. Weather conditions were quite hot and windy, but none of the 3 had major issues during their race so the results were very positive.
