The route took the riders straight through the beautiful natural park of Ballons des Vosges and started with the ascent of the col des Chevrères (916m with a elevation percentage up to 15%). This col is also known as the Ballon de Belfahy and dominates the landscape of the departement Haute-Saône. After the col des Chevrères, the Ballon de Servance (1216) awaited, another tough challenge. The finale was identical to the finale of the Granfondo: a long and beautiful passage through the heart of the “country of 1000 lakes” (also known as ‘Little Finland’) towards the finish in Raddon-et-Chapendu.
