The national cross-country championships were held in Dreiborn on sunday – CAEG, as the organizer of this event, had some major workload with the muddy and wet race conditions. Nevertheless, some good results were achieved by our runners on this difficult track.
Jackie Mores came in 8th in the female elite race over 5800m with an end time of 30:43min. In the male elite race over 10750m, Eric Wagner finished 15th in 51:37, exhausted by this demanding race. Gullu Evora finished 24th in 1h05:37.
Results in the youth categories :
- Sarah Mousel finished 21st in Scolaires fém. over 1675m in 9:24min (33 finisher)
- Leo Weishaar and Luca Seidel finished 9th resp. 10th in the Minimes masc. race over 2900m. (27 finisher)
