Georges Reding raced the Ironman Vitoria-Gasteix in northern Spain this sunday. The race course was mostly rolling and the weather conditions tended to be hot and dry.
After a decent swim, Georges pushed quite hard on the bike to conclude the bike section in 5h13. In the marathon, he tried to stay hydrated to a maximum as the temperatures were rising above 30°C… after a marathon in 4h13, Georges crossed the finish line in 10h54:37 to reach an overall rank of 406 and, surprisingly, a qualification slot in his AG45-49 for the world championships in Hawaii !!!! Congratulations for this achievement.
