Marseille, 2013 European Capital of Culture, has been chosen to host the first edition of the 5150 olympic distance triathlon.
David Claerebout managed to perform very strongly in this race by finishing on 34th position overall out of 800 finishers. After a decent swim in 27’07”, he finished the bike part in 1:08’43” and ran the 10km in 42’07”. In his age category M25-29, David finished on a very good 8th rank.
