Athlete report : Gabriel Sardain in Zell

Triathlon Zell an der Mosel Triathlon! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃🏽
My goal was simple—enjoy the race ,push my limits and to check my current fitness 💪

**700M Swim** 🏊‍♂️: Emerging 6th from the water, I felt strong and ready for the next stage! 🌊💪

**20KM Bike** 🚴‍♂️: The fast and flat course thrilled me, but the wind added an extra kick. With an average speed of 37 km/h and maintaining an average of 220 watts, I gave my all, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that I could go even faster! 💨🚀

**5KM Run** 🏃‍♂️: Started the run a bit slow at 4:43 min/km, but I quickly picked up the pace, and I started to run 4:13 min/km. Crossing the finish line, my watch showed 14 minutes for the 5km, yet I knew the course was shorter at 3.38km. No matter the distance, I smiled, feeling accomplished! 🏃‍♂️🔥 A bit disappointed that the run was shorter as I started to find my rhythm 🫠

Securing 16th place overall among 300 participants and 4th in my age group (M25) is a solid result which puts me a smile into the face 😊

Now, I’ll carry the race’s momentum, gain more confidence in myself, and push my limits even further! 🚀

Training paid off, and I’m excited for the upcoming races!
