Mind-blowing performance by Claude Lucas at the IM70.3 Vichy on saturday. After a very fast bike split in 2:15:36, Claude managed to run a personal best on the half marathon in 1:24:48 allowing him to finish on 33rd overall and 6th in AG M25-29. By the way, he set up a new personal best time on this distance in 4:16:05 equivalent to the 2nd best club time ever… Validation for the world champs done!!! Claude finished in a time that qualifies him for FLTRI cadre C.
Chris Weyland used the race as a last test before the IM Hawaii in October. He was a bit disappointed about his swim and bike performance but his run was good though. Chris finished on good 116th rank overall and 17th in AG M35-39.
